Introducing Thinlayer Labs

Why I started Thinlayer Labs and what we're building — focused SaaS products and developer tools from Sweden.

The beginning

Thinlayer Labs started from a simple observation: many businesses struggle with software that tries to do too much. Bloated features, confusing interfaces, and privacy concerns that come as an afterthought.

I decided to do things differently.

The philosophy

Every product under the Thinlayer Labs umbrella follows three principles:

  1. Do one thing well. Each tool is purpose-built for a specific problem. No feature bloat, no scope creep.
  2. Privacy by default. GDPR compliance isn’t a checkbox — it’s baked into the architecture.
  3. EU data residency. Your data stays in Europe. Period.

What we’ve shipped

So far, we have three live products:

  • Knipsa — Automates Meta Ads payment receipts into Fortnox. No more manual bookkeeping for digital ad spend.
  • NotifyIt — Channel-based push notifications for organizations. Subscribe to what matters. No tracking, no ads.
  • VisselSignal — A whistleblowing platform that’s fully compliant with EU Directive 2019/1937 and Swedish national law.
